Which printer shall I use to print on Choco Sheets®?

What do I have to consider by printing on Choco Sheets®?

Printing must be done on the laminated part of the Choco Sheet in "mirror image" (T-shirt print). We recommend setting the print quality option of your printer to "High". Please use the front feeder of your printer.

White chocolate. Edible Inks can hardly be seen on dark chocolate.

The print quality option of your printer should be set to "High". We recommend feeding the sheets from the cassette.

Why do you recommend using Silicon Mats together with Choco Sheets®?

KOPYFORM's Silicon Mats have various cavities which facilitate positioning your design (e.g. for printing on chocolate candies/truffles).

At which temperature should chocolate be put on the Choco Sheet?

White chocolate should have a temperature of at least 31.5°C when applied to the Choco Sheet®.

How much time should Choco Sheets® be allowed to dry after printing?

Choco Sheets® should be thoroughly dried before chocolate is added (especially if you have a lot of black in your image). Make absolutely sure that the ink is completely dry before you apply chocolate. Your room temperature should be approximately 20 degrees C and humidity less than 50 pc. We recommend using the Fingernail-Test before applying the chocolate.

Which temperature and humidity should my room have?

Your room temperature should be approximately 20 degrees C and humidity less than 50 pc . If the humidity is too high, please raise the room temperature to 23 degrees C.

What can I do if the ink does not completely transfer onto chocolate?

If Edible Inks do not completely transfer from the Choco Sheet onto the chocolate we recommend lowering the "color intensity" as well as the "contrast" in your printer menu about 20 pc. Work on a plastic or wooden surface (Do not use a marble top or a steel surface).
